Consumers collect digital punch card stamps across multiple local merchants in one app and participate in Density Drops: group rewards that activate when enough verified users gather near a business. Hardware-free, starts free for merchants. Currently in development, launching in downtown State College, PA.

What is a Density Drop?

A Density Drop is a geo-fenced, threshold-triggered group reward. A merchant defines a location zone, a user count threshold (e.g., 15 people), and a time window. When enough verified Pnchy users gather in the zone, a time-limited reward activates for everyone present. Users receive push notifications as the threshold approaches, creating urgency and social pull without ad spend.

Is Pnchy available to download?

No. Merchants use their existing smartphone camera to scan customer QR codes. No tablet, terminal, or hardware purchase is required.

Pnchy is payment-agnostic — it works above any payment system without requiring merchants to switch processors. Square Loyalty only works within the Square ecosystem; FiveStars requires joining SumUp's network. Pnchy also offers features unavailable on those platforms: a community discovery map, a competitive merchant leaderboard (Owner of the Block), and Density Drops (group-triggered rewards).
